In looking to the new year I have a feeling not exactly joyful, maybe I would have created better conditions in the past year, or maybe the age makes less optimistic in general ... but the hope for all of us is that we assume at least a sprig laurel, a sprig green and healthy who may not be suffcient to crown our heads, but if planted will continue to sprout...

Can't do without posting this!

He entered the house  early this morning … slamming right and left, then fell semiconscious on the windowsill … I took him in my hand and I stroked the little head slowly, as he opened and closed its beak reeling … I thought he was dying, I prayed not to do it … shortly after he whipped his wings once, twice, and finally fluttered on the iron that holds the wire for hanging out and I had time to photograph him before he stood out the flight. His name in Italian is CINCIALLEGRA, can’t find the English translation…
